The partners of FRIENDESK Project partners met in Florence on 17 th and 18 th October 2019 for the first transnational project meeting.
The meeting took place at Conservatorio Delle Mantellate, a beautiful medieval building, now location of a kindergarten and a primary school.
The first phase of the meeting was opened by FISM as Coordinator and was focused on the general architecture of the Project, with a detailed presentation of objectives, target groups, intellectual outputs, training activity, multiplier events, expected results and outcomes. This session had been very useful because it allowed each organisation to present itself, know each other better, share the fundamental elements of the project, create a spirit of common collaboration.
After this first phase, all partners in charge of the Intellectual Outputs or the Training Event, illustrated their proposal for planning and implementing these activities. In particular, it had been very important to underline the logical/theoretical/scientific and temporal connection between the different Outputs and to analyse the target group and the organisational details of the Training Event for researchers and trainers involved in the project. In particular, IO1 had been illustrated by UNIFI, IO2 by WUSMED, IO3 by FISM, IO4 by Blue Room Innovation, IO5 by Regional Directorate for Primary and Secondary Education of Thessaly, C1 by Know and Can Association.
Europanet Association explained its Communication and Dissemination Proposal, while FISM presented its Monitoring and Evaluation Plan.
The first day ended with a nice dinner in the centre of Florence.
The second day’s meeting focused on Administrative and Financial aspects. FISM explained FRIENDESK Budget and Erasmus+ financial rules and the importance of Progress and Interim Reports. Partnership Agreements between FISM and each partner organisation had been signed. In general, all partners are experts in Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships and know very well how to manage this kind of project. A special focus was about AdminProject, an internal platform for managing Erasmus+ projects.
The kick-off meeting finished in the afternoon fixing next dates and agreements about the next steps.
